The Fascinating Diversity of Our Native Carnivorous Plants and the Bogs They Live In

Yes, we have several carnivorous plant species native to the eastern US, including pitcher plants, sundews, and even the Venus flytrap. Brandon Everett, Horticulturist at Edge of the Woods Native Plant Nursery, will tell you about some of these incredible plants, their habitats, and their unique adaptations and life cycles. He will also explain how you can grow them in your very own, home made “bog garden.” It’s not as hard as it sounds and these gardens are simply amazing!
