Plants support wildlife of all sorts in all seasons, but perhaps the most enigmatic are our delicate and delightful feathered friends, native birds! No matter where you live, you can provide berry-producing native shrubs and plants that support birds in the dog days of summer, the famed fall migratory season, and even the quiet weeks of winter. The beautiful berries of our native trees, shrubs, and other plants add beautiful bursts of color for you to enjoy while supporting our feathered friends throughout the year.               

Samantha Nestory, a passionate naturalist, serves as the engagement manager at Stoneleigh: a natural garden in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Leading up to her current position, Sam studied ecology and entomology at the University of Delaware, worked for the consulting firm Sarver Ecological, and interned at Morris Arboretum. Samantha is especially devoted to insect conservation, weaving together the stories of pollinators and plants to foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

• Those who wish to create or renew membership may do so via PayPal on the Membership page of this website. You may also pay at the event with cash or check payable to Narberth Area Garden Club.

• This event will take place at the Narberth Municipal Building, 100 Conway Ave, Narberth PA (use Haverford Avenue entrance). The event will not be accessible via Zoom.
