The Narberth Area Garden Club was formed in the summer of 2004 after a group of local gardeners attended the Narberth Library’s Garden Tour.

Over strawberries and ice cream, talk of a “community of gardeners” spurred planning for a series of monthly programs to provide a friendly forum for local gardening enthusiasts to get to know one another.

The name chosen by the planning group, “Narberth Area Garden Club,” respects the seed planted in front of the Narberth Library and encourages community by reaching across municipal boundaries.

Everyone in the neighborhood who loves gardening is welcome!  You need not be a Narberth resident. We welcome and encourage beginning gardeners!

Your home garden

Narberth Area Garden Club encourages everyone to use sustainable, wildlife-friendly gardening practices. Minimizing (or better yet eliminating) pesticide use and maximizing native plants, shrubs and trees in your garden provide many and varied ecological benefits for us all.

In-person and remote education sessions for the community.
